Questions

Which coins does Bitcoin Core support?

Bitcoin.

Is Bitcoin Core open source?

Yes. Its source code is public at https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.

Does Bitcoin Core support multisig?

Yes. Bitcoin Core can hold one key of a multi-signature wallet, where several keys on separate devices are needed to move funds — the setup that survives any single wallet failing.

Is Bitcoin Core custodial?

No. Bitcoin Core is self-custody: the user holds the keys, and nobody else can move the funds.

The wallets directory compares every wallet by type, custody and the coins it holds. A wallet's place there is not for sale.
