Multi-chain swap service — the reader sends one coin and receives another, each on its own blockchain; no wrapped copy is involved. The service, not a contract, takes the other side of the trade.
Custody note
A swap service keeps no account balance, but it is not a contract either: the coin sent in is held by ChangeNOW for the minutes the swap takes, and the other coin is sent from its own wallets. For that window the service is the counterparty — which is also why some of them ask for identity on larger amounts. The coins themselves are the real ones on their own chains, not wrapped copies.
