Divi ranks #148 of 504 cryptocurrencies. On a list that also counts tokens, memecoins, wrapped coins, staked derivatives and stablecoins it appears at #994: 846 of the 993 assets ahead of it are not native coins but tokens or claims. A token is issued on a host blockchain rather than running its own; a claim stands for an asset already counted. Of the 1225 non-native assets CoinSpectrum lists above it by market cap, about 70% are tokens, 22% are claims on other assets and 8% are memecoins.

| Premine (allocated at launch) | 8.7 | 12.9% of today's supply allocated at launch to founders, a company, a foundation or investors. The block-1 premine was 617,222,416 DIVI (chainparams premineAmt): the DIVX ERC-20 swap at 1 DIVX = 100 DIVI, plus project holdings. That is 12.9% of the current ~4,802.5M; the treasury and charity share of block rewards is now counted separately as a block-reward cut. source |
| Fundraising | 8.7 | Sold by its issuer or insiders: 12.9% of supply was theirs to sell, 11.8% sold so far. The Nov 2017-Jan 2018 DIVX ERC-20 sale raised ~$2.7M for 566M DIVI-equivalent (5.66M DIVX at 1 DIVX = 100 DIVI, ~$0.00477/DIVI), swapped into the block-1 premine. 566M / 4,802,681,347 DIVI (CoinGecko total, 2026-10-24) = 11.8%. DIVX ERC-20 token sale, Nov 2017 - Jan 2018: 5,000 ETH soft cap, 100,000 ETH hard cap, 650 to 500 DIVX/ETH. The amount actually raised was not found. source |
| Developer share (after launch) | 8.6 | Developer share: about 14.1% of today's supply received so far; 15.5% of each new block reward goes to them today. Under the default reward split in LegacyBlockSubsidies.cpp, after a 50 DIVI lottery slice the rest of each block goes 38% stakers, 45% masternodes, 16% treasury and 1% charity, and the project-run treasury plus charity (17% of (subsidy - 50)) are a cut; at today's 550 DIVI subsidy that is 85 / 550 = 15.5% of issuance. Arithmetic: subsidy 1,250 falling 100 per 525,600 blocks; to ~block 4.26M (4,185M emitted since block 1) treasury+charity is ~675M / 4,802.5M = ~14.1%. Sporks can override the split, and none were checked. source |

Twenty criteria, weighted equally. The Cryptocurrency Standards have six sections: sound money qualities (six checks: scarcity, durability, fungibility, divisibility, portability, verifiability), privacy (five checks), scalability (four measures and three features), security (miner pay and seven checks), programmability (token issuance, smart contracts and five checks) and decentralisation (censorship resistance, no central team, who can mint, nodes, holders, premine, fundraising and developer share). Provisional: criteria marked — are not yet measured and are left out of the average. A rating of structure and market depth, not a price forecast or investment advice. DIVX ERC-20 token sale, Nov 2017 - Jan 2018: 5,000 ETH soft cap, 100,000 ETH hard cap, 650 to 500 DIVX/ETH. The amount actually raised was not found.
The Nov 2017-Jan 2018 DIVX ERC-20 sale raised ~$2.7M for 566M DIVI-equivalent (5.66M DIVX at 1 DIVX = 100 DIVI, ~$0.00477/DIVI), swapped into the block-1 premine. 566M / 4,802,681,347 DIVI (CoinGecko total, 2026-10-24) = 11.8%.

Sporks can override the split, and none were checked.
The treasury part is an estimate from the default code split. Sporks may have changed it, and the average subsidy was approximated. soldPct is not established: aggregators say ~80% of DIVX went to the sale, but the DIVX cap (60-80M per sources) doesn't reconcile with a 617M DIVI premine at 1:100.

Divi is #148 among cryptocurrencies and #994 in the market ranking, which lists wrapped coins, staked derivatives, stablecoins and tokens alongside them. CoinSpectrum counts an asset once, and counts only cryptocurrencies: assets with their own blockchain and their own consensus. A wrapped coin, a staked derivative or a stablecoin is a claim on something already counted; a token, memecoin or otherwise, runs on another chain's blocks. All of them are listed, each in its own section, and none is added to the total. The 846 places between Divi's two ranks are held by claims and tokens, not by other networks. The methodology sets out the rule and the counting rule argues for it.
The price above is the median of the exchanges the site reads live, checked every minute and cross-checked against a market snapshot (how market data is gathered). The grade is scored on published criteria, each with its source (the method). The site is independent, nothing on it is a paid placement, and its statements are signed (about CoinSpectrum, the manifesto).
